Many of our clients have a sizable, powerful sales force driving revenue on a daily basis. Pricing is one of their main tools, but as any business knows, pricing guidelines are often necessary to maintain and drive profitability.
Our platform has a configurable pricing approval workflow where, if a rep has priced an item below the designated “floor” price, the price will be flagged and go into a queue for review. The reviewer (who can be a sales support person, a manager, or a leader) can approve or suggest an alternate price. At this point, the item is sent back to the rep for review before being sent out to the customer. This tool, while still empowering reps to alter pricing, maintains a level of control and approval to ensure order profitability and transparency.
In every business, orders have to reach various criteria to be “complete,” or to be eligible to drop to the distribution network. For some businesses, this may be licensure, order size threshold, current credit worthiness, or even the right product mix within an order.
Our platform is configurable to “hold” orders that don’t meet your eligibility requirements. In some cases, our customers prefer this functionality live in their ERP, but for those who do not, we have created this functionality so that orders can be held, reviewed, and released by a specific person or team to ensure proper order processing is being upheld with minimal customer disruption.
POCommerce comes with a Sales Dashboard as the “home” screen of our application. This can be useful whether or not you have a sales force, giving you key metrics about your website at a glance, including daily sales, open orders, backorders, new registrants and top sellers. If you do have a sales force, the dashboard can be customized to reflect territory or assigned account data, as well as views for managers and senior leaders.
We know how critical the home screen of a sales order entry tool can be to a sales force. That first glance needs to hold key performance indicators and business drivers to give your reps a quick view of the health of their territory. ProfitOptics specializes in custom sales reporting and we can help you craft custom, detailed reporting based on your sales goals. We can port those reports into POCommerce for display or we can create a PunchOut to our POPlatform which can house complex and advanced sales and sales operational reporting. We have also worked with organizations to integrate BI reporting tools. Enabling your sales force with the data they need can take your organization to the next level.
When you are integrating a sales force and an eCommerce strategy, one of the first questions you typically get from the field is, “What are my customers searching online?” We have this ready for your team so your reps and support folks can easily assess, at the customer level, what customers are searching for on the eCommerce application. This report is great for pre-call planning and for custom product list creation. We can also aggregate this list for your organization for trend analysis.
